The Motor Expo in Bangkok on Dec 1-12 took orders for more than 42,000 vehicles, generated over 50-billion-baht transactions, and attracted over 1.3 million visitors, according to the organiser. Toyota was the most popular, followed by Honda, Isuzu, Nissan and Suzuki. Of the 6,000 motorcycles, the most significant orders were for Lambrettas and Yamahas. The average price of cars ordered at the expo was 1.35 million baht, and motorcycles were 253,700 baht.
