Todd has made friends with the senior sales executive at HomePro as a result of all the stuff he bought from there. He is also the go-to sales rep to handle all English speaking foreigners which is how everything fitted together but now he’s been messaging Todd to come out and visit the local nightspots around our area. Chanya had her friends over at our house which meant I could slip out and hang with the lads for the live music on offer. As with the Green Room on Sukhumvit Soi 7/1, there are different bands playing over the course of the week to suit everyone’s taste. Tonight was a rhythm and blues theme which was a refreshing change to the typical Thai music we hear playing around the traps. It was good to see the young crowd getting out and living a fairly normal life after all the media scare campaigns over the last couple of years. I have no doubt we’ll be visiting the Groove more and maybe even running a live stream there every so often.
