A few of my ex-pat friends said they had visited the Patpong Museum and said it was very interesting. I really didn’t see any point in visiting given the subject and location criteria but I was pleasantly surprised with how well they have crammed so much into the small building. It was 350 baht to check it all out, but that price included 2 free drinks and we had a tour guide who spoke English. Hearing about the history and personalities responsible for the fame of Patpong was definitely worth the admission and the tour. I really had no idea there was so much depth to this place given its reputation as a red-light district haunt and nightspot.
