I managed to convince Tim that we should be doing more walkabouts in Bangkok to discover the hidden wonders that Bangkok has to offer. Yes, I know most westerners come here for the exotic nightlife in the city that never sleeps, but Bangkok has so much more to offer the discerning traveller.
Today we take a wander through Yaowarat Road in China Town, then continue on the Mega Plaza which is a toy store that isn’t just for kids. We then continue of our treck up to Khaosan Road which is commonly referred to as the Backpacker accommodation area and then we take the run back down the river on the express boats for our final leg of the journey.
