Today Chanya fulfils another of her dreams to come true. She orders her Victorian Style vintage bed or as I’ve been commonly calling it – her Barbie Bed! This of course means we need to move the guest bed into the guest room and I guess that it’s up to me to dismantle and reassemble that before the new one arrives. Thank Eris I’ve had plenty of practice dismantling and building stuff in all those survival games I play. Mind you, I think I’d rather pay some Thai person 300 baht to do the work for me. The new bed does arrive mid-afternoon and the lads do a snappy job of putting it together. There was one hiccup though and that involved them bringing the wrong dressing table that matches the set. That will now arrive sometime tomorrow which will put a damper on our Wednesday lunch outing so we might have to settle for an early dinner date tomorrow instead. The mattress for the bed won’t arrive until Thursday which means we’ll be sleeping in the guest room for a couple of nights.
