One attraction for the Venice of Thailand is the Floating Markets. Bangkok and surrounding areas are built on an alluvial flood plain so it has a lot of waterways. Some are impassable whereas others are a treasure trove of OTOP merchandise as far as the eye can see. The floating market closest to us it Khlong Lat Mayom and it is still a very popular Thai destination for a Sunday lunch. We’ve been here a few times before but this time due to the restrictions for social distancing, the crowds were noticeably down on the last visits. Well, it’s Valentines Day so I’m taking Chanya and my two mon’s out to lunch because that’s what we do here in Thailand!
